How it Works
Engraving begins with preparing your design for the laser. Since laser engraving reads artwork in black and white, any color logos or designs are first converted to a black-and-white format to ensure clean, accurate results. If this conversion changes the look of your design, we’ll send a proof for approval before moving forward. Depending on the item and material, a sample engraving may be run prior to production. For customer-provided or one-of-a-kind items, sample runs may not always be possible. Once the design is approved and setup is complete, your items move into production for consistent, precise engraving.
ARTWORK PREPARATION
Every engraving project starts with your design. Because laser engraving works in black and white, all artwork is reviewed and converted as needed to ensure clean lines and proper contrast. If a color design requires adjustment to translate correctly for engraving, a proof is sent for approval before production begins. This step ensures there are no surprises in the final result.
MATERIAL & TESTING
Different materials engrave differently depending on surface finish, coating, and color. Before production, we evaluate the item and design to determine the best engraving settings. When possible, a sample engraving is run to confirm clarity and contrast. For customer-provided or one-of-a-kind items, sample runs may not always be available, and engraving proceeds based on approved artwork and setup.
ENGRAVING & FINISH
Once artwork and setup are approved, items move into production using commercial laser equipment. Each piece is engraved with consistency and attention to detail to ensure a clean, professional finish across the entire order. The result is a permanent mark that won’t fade, peel, or wear off with use.
